Best Heart Hospital in India

Best Heart Hospital in India - Advanced Cardiac Care & Surgery Experts

Heart disease doesn’t wait to strike. They can occur at any time—during a morning stroll, at a family dinner, or in the middle of the night. And where you receive treatment at that time can make all the difference. That’s when finding the best heart hospital in India can be difficult.

Over 28 lakh heart attacks occur in India each year. The figures are depressing. However, this is equally true: outcomes can be amazing if you have the right team, the right technology, and a hospital that treats you like a person rather than a number.

The most skilled physicians oversee cardiac care at Silverstreak Hospital. Our sole goal is to return you to the life you love. Our surgeons and cardiologists have decades of combined experience. Our team genuinely cares about your heart health, and we are supported by cutting-edge infrastructure.

Why Silverstreak is Among the Best Heart Hospitals in India

There are plenty of hospitals that call themselves the best. Here’s what makes Silverstreak different.

Results-driven strategy

We do have the equipment, yes. Modern cardiac intensive care units, specialized cath labs, and robotically assisted surgery options. However, technology is only as good as the team that uses it. Thousands of procedures have been carried out by our interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons.

Emergency Cardiac Response 24/7

In just a few minutes, a heart attack can be fatal. Our emergency cardiac team is on call 24/7. No delays, no handoffs, and no “the doctor will be available in the morning.” A senior cardiologist is involved as soon as you arrive.

Tailored Care at Every Stage

For us, each patient is unique. Before suggesting a course of action, we take the time to learn about your background, your worries, and your objectives.

  • Professional specialists in MCh cardiac surgery and DM cardiology
  • High success rates for valve, bypass, and angioplasty procedures
  • After surgery, a dedicated cardiac intensive care unit with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Open dialogue with families and patients
  • Financial guidance and insurance assistance from the start

Heart Conditions We Treat

Our cardiology department manages the full spectrum of cardiac conditions. From the early signs of arterial disease to emergency heart attacks and complex structural defects.

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)

CAD stands as the most prevalent heart disease which affects Indian populations. The condition of CAD originates when arterial pathways, which deliver blood to the heart, become constricted because plaque accumulates. It presents symptoms which include chest tightness and breathlessness during physical activity and fatigue. CAD will progress to a heart attack when doctors do not provide treatment. The treatment consists of lifestyle changes and medication, angioplasty, and bypass surgery, which we select based on the severity of the patient’s condition.

Heart Attack (Myocardial Infarction)

Every minute a blocked artery goes untreated, more heart tissue dies. Our emergency team is equipped to perform primary angioplasty, the gold-standard treatment for heart attacks, within 90 minutes of arrival. You should contact us without delay when you or anyone nearby displays heart attack symptoms, which include chest pain, arm or jaw pain and excessive sweating and nausea.

Heart Failure

Heart failure doesn’t mean the heart has stopped. It means it’s not pumping efficiently enough. It can cause swelling in the legs, difficulty lying flat, and persistent breathlessness. We manage heart failure with medical therapy, device treatments like ICD and CRT, and in severe cases, transplant evaluation.

Arrhythmia (Irregular Heartbeat)

Palpitations, a racing heart, or a heart that skips beats, these can be signs of arrhythmia. Most are manageable, but some types (like ventricular fibrillation) can be life-threatening. We offer electrophysiology studies, ablation, and device implantation for patients with serious rhythm disorders.

Valve Disease

Heart valves can narrow (stenosis) or leak (regurgitation), forcing the heart to work harder than it should. We handle both surgical and transcatheter valve interventions depending on the patient’s condition and surgical risk.

Congenital Heart Defects

Some heart conditions are present from birth, such as holes in the heart, abnormal valves, or malformed vessels. We treat both children and adults with congenital defects, from device closure of ASDs and VSDs to complete surgical correction.

Advanced Cardiac Treatments & Procedures

Silverstreak Hospital offers the entire gamut of modern cardiac interventions, both surgical and non-surgical. Let’s take a look at the major procedures and what to expect from each.

Angioplasty & Stenting

This is a non-surgical procedure that uses a balloon to widen a blocked artery, followed by the insertion of a stent to keep the artery open. Patients are able to get back on their feet within 24 hours. We use drug-eluting stents, which reduce the risk of future blockage to a minimum.

Coronary Bypass

If blockages are too severe or widespread to be treated with stenting, then bypass is the best solution. We take a healthy artery from another part of the body and use it to bypass the blocked artery. We are capable of both on-pump and off-pump (bypassing the heart while still beating) bypass.

Heart Valve Repair & Replacement

At Silverstreak Hospital, we repair or replace defective mitral, aortic, tricuspid, and pulmonary valves. We use traditional as well as modern, minimally invasive methods for this. The choice of valve is a matter for detailed consultation with each patient.

Pacemaker & ICD

Pacemakers are used to treat an abnormally slow or irregular heartbeat. Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) monitor for potentially fatal arrhythmias and deliver a controlled electric shock if necessary. Both are day-care procedures, and patients are able to go home the next day.

Heart Transplant

For those suffering from end-stage heart failure who have not been able to respond to any other form of therapy, a new heart is the best chance for a new lease on life. This is one of the most complex and technically challenging procedures, requiring a highly coordinated team effort involving cardiology, cardiac surgery, intensive care, and transplant coordination. Silverstreak Hospital is equipped to guide this process.

Technology & Facilities That Define the Best Heart Hospital

Here’s a list of cutting-edge equipment we utilise, and what this means for your care:

Cath Labs (Catheterisation Laboratories)

Our cardiac cath labs utilise state-of-the-art fluoroscopy and real-time imaging technologies. These technologies allow our skilled interventional cardiologists to visualise clogged arteries and perform angioplasty procedures with unparalleled accuracy. We can perform procedures in under an hour.

Cardiac ICU

Perhaps one of the most critical aspects of cardiac care is post-surgery and post-procedure care. Our cardiac ICU has 24/7 intensivist support, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilatory support. Every patient who comes out of major cardiac surgery enters a cardiac ICU that’s designed to handle what the next 48 hours will bring.

Advanced Cardiac Imaging

Accurate diagnosis begins with accurate imaging. We utilize echocardiograms, including 2D and 3D, stress echocardiograms, CT coronary angiograms, nuclear cardiology, and MRI cardiac imaging. These technologies provide our team with a clear understanding of what’s happening before making a treatment decision.

Robotic & Minimally Invasive Surgery

Our minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery options allow patients to recover more quickly, experience less postoperative pain, and avoid infection risk, all while maintaining the quality of repair.

Your Cardiac Treatment Journey - From Diagnosis to Recovery

At Silverstreak hospital, a care coordinator is present with you throughout your journey from the first consultation to the last follow-up. This is how we do it:

Step 1: Initial Consultation and Diagnosis

In this step, your cardiologist takes a complete history, examines you, and gets investigations such as an ECG, an echocardiogram, a treadmill, or CT coronary angiography, depending on your symptoms. We do not do investigations for the sake of investigations.

Step 2: Diagnosis Review and Treatment Planning

In this step, your cardiologist reviews your investigations with you and explains what your investigations indicate. If your condition requires a cardiac surgeon, we also present our cardiac surgeon to review your condition and what options are available to you, what risks are involved, what benefits are likely, and what alternatives exist before we decide on a course of action.

Step 3: Procedure or Surgery

In this step, whether it is a day-care angioplasty, a bypass, or a heart transplant, we do everything with the same dedication and care.

Step 4: Cardiac ICU Care

In this step, if your condition requires surgery, we take care of your cardiac ICU needs for the first day or two.

Step 5: Rehabilitation and Discharge

In this final step, before we send you back home, our cardiac rehabilitation team sits with you and your family and explains everything, from your medication to your diet, exercise, and symptoms to look out for, in writing.
